Dzera Kaytati
Dzera Kaytati is a co-founder and COO of Maaind, a neuroscience and AI start up on a mission to help every individual understand and manage their state of mind. At the core of Maaind’s approach is their novel neurotechnology that fuses biometrics, sensors, BCI (Brain Computer Interfaces) and AI to provide objective measurements of mental states in every day life. Their first product Aurora is a highly personalised mind assistant: https://aurora.maaind.com/lwl/
Dzera’s motivation to start Maaind was her own personal journey, during which she explored a number of practices from Vipassana meditation to self-tracking. She got increasingly interested in neuroscience and understanding how human behaviour is affected by physiological and environmental factors, yet how little conscious awareness we have of those in our every day. She then decided to apply the power of fast evolving biometric and AI technologies to help people augment their self-awareness and wellbeing.
Dzera is a strong advocate for neuroscience literacy, working on various initiatives to raise awareness and make brain research more accessible to everyone, especially parents and educators. Her other projects and interests lie at the intersection of human-centred design, future of education and space exploration.
